It was a day for the dogs at La Vue Guest Lodge in Muldersdrift as dog-owners from all over arrived at the venue to spend time with their fur-babies.
A range of games and activities were on the menu, with rosettes and prizes proudly being sponsored by Supreme Pet.

From the hilarious balloon and spoon race to power jumping, with a fancy dress class and Mutt parade, kindly sponsored by MuttMix thrown in the middle – dogs of all shapes and sizes could show off their skills in the relaxed and fun environment. Water pools were available to refresh hot dogs and the shady trees offered a wonderful relaxing place to watch the activities.

Spectators were treated to a display by Dancing Dogs in Joburg as well as incredible bite-work and anti-hijacking displays by K9 Impact.
A firm favourite with crowd, K9 Impact educated and thrilled us with their amazing dogs and the work they do.

A gorgeous country market full of canine accessories, treats, toys and artwork was available for fur-kid parents to spoil their dogs.

The day supported 3 charities on the day:
Husky Romi Wolf Sanctuary
Animal Instincts NPO
Adora-Bull Rescue

Each of these charities received a portion of the ticket sales. Animal Allies’ sterilization programme was also supported – with all entry fees for the pure-breed parade going directly to them in a show of support for the sterilization of pets.

A perfect day out for dogs and owners alike, on a beautiful South African summer Saturday.
