Medieval Fayre 2020 – There & Back Again : Date Change

In light of recent developments pertaining to the global pandemic Covid-19 and the Government issued restrictions, we have no choice but to postpone Medieval Fayre 2020 : There and Back Again.

Whilst the decision is heart breaking for us and has not been an easy one due to the breaking of tradition, as well as months of hard work, the health and safety of our guests, vendors, crew and performers is of paramount importance to us.
While Covid-19 is still a huge threat on a global scale, we simply cannot risk going ahead with the event on the original date of the 6th of June 2020.

Government officials have estimated an approximate 2 weeks restriction per level and as mass gatherings and events will only be permitted again at Level 1, we will not be able to go ahead on the original date as planned. We are however postponing Medieval Fayre 2020 to the 28th of November 2020. Rest assured that the necessary health precautions will be in place to assure your safety.

We ask for your understanding.

This is extremely disappointing for the team that has worked so hard to bring this magical event to life, as we have done for the past 8 years – but circumstances are unprecedented and beyond our control.

We ask our community and loyal followers for the understanding and acceptance surrounding this decision, purely based on the legal and safety implications as stated by the Government of South Africa.
