Oyez! Oyez!
What a day of Medieval merriment as thousands of eager nobles, peasants, lords and ladies descended upon the Kingdom of Greensleeves in Krugersdorp to revel in all that was magical!
An incredible winter’s day set the backdrop for all manner of experiences and activities. The sound of music filled the air, the market place was a bustle of brilliance and knights took on noble quests for prizes.
There was much munching of delectable turkey legs while mead was quaffed and tomatoes soared through the air. Deep in the forest, the mage, the fire dancers, and the puppeteer thrilled audiences with their sorcery, and the venue filled with laughter during the infamous Tavern Quiz and improv theatre shows.

Fan favourite competitions returned, including Ye Grand Fancy Dress Rivalry, sponsored by Slayer and hosted by King Shane of 91.9FM. New exciting competitions saw guests jousting with hobby horses and searching for dangerous rogues throughout the grounds.
With a (literal) jumping castle for the bairns, enthusiastic biffing of baddies in Off With His Head, historical martial arts, archery, forging, axe throwing and even a trebuchet – time was of the essence to not miss a single thing!
In it’s 12th year, the original and biggest Medieval Fayre in South Africa was brought to life, bigger and better (as promised) by an incredibly talented cast and crew, who are all dedicated to the magic of the Middle Ages.
With the iconic Greensleeves as the star of the show, there is no doubt that with each passing year, this hallmark event on the calendar will continue to thrill audiences for years to come.
