As the sun rose over Rusty Hook in the Westrand, all manner of pirates, fairies, salty sea dogs, mermaids and landlubbers awaiting their chance to enter Neverland.
The 9th annual Fantasy Fayre transformed the venue into a realm of wonder, complete with a pirate ship, walking of planks, multiple krakens and magic around every corner.
Treasure was dug for and bounty aplenty acquired, whilst the wee ones blew bubbles with a magical fairy and Tinkerbell had guests hunting for toadstools.
Every manner of activity was offered including the Quest for the Dead Man’s Chest, a hilarious quiz with Captain ‘Nauti-Lass’,Β and battles for the Jolly Roger black sails.
Captain Hook, Smee & Jack Sparrow interacted with fayre-goers and thrilled everyone they met, with lots of giggles and pirate-y shenanigans.

Sirens surrounded the ship, lost boys battled it out, and the magic flowed throughout the lands.
The magic market featured over 70 of the most unique vendors in South Africa, who peddled loot and treasures from all over the land.
Sea shanties were sung, and the costumes were some of the best yet with a proud winner being crowned by proud sponsors, Slayer Energy at the end of the day.
The day with proper pirate cheer and every fairy was fabulous!
Fantasy Fayre returns in 2027, with something new to experience so ensure you follow along on social media so you never miss out!
